WWPR unveils new discounted member rate for students!
If you are a full time student currently enrolled in, and in good-standing with, an academic institution accredited by the U.S. Department of Education, you are eligible for a membership to WWPR at the discounted rate of $40 per year, regardless of your age or the location of your school. You must be enrolled full time in a PR-focused curriculum to be considered.
With your student membership, you are also eligible for discounts to our paid events, such our annual meeting each January, as well as various other professional development events throughout the year. At the top of the application, be sure to select “WWPR Student Membership.” We will process your request immediately; however Lindsay Nichols, Member Services Chair, or another member of the WWPR board, will follow-up with you in order to validate your membership – at which time you will need to show a valid form of student identification.
An endorsement by a PR professional or professor is strongly encouraged, though not mandatory. Your membership is valid for one year from the date you become active.
